Some African countries are crying foul calling “a conspiracy from the West to impose its immoral values on Africans”. I think they have a point. The above cartoon from the Ghanaian Chronicle sums their attitude up nicely.

And another thing - why isn’t the UK so quick to turn off the tap on non-democratic regimes? and I’m talking about the ones that claim their democratic when they really aren’t. Why does the UK feel the need to protect gay rights when there are many other injustices?

Could it possibly be because there are so many asylum seekers in this country fighting repatriation on the grounds that they are gay and will be persecuted if they are sent home?

If so, then maybe he's not that stupid after all...
